It has been a fruitful day for Dp Ruto's camp as a senior Kiambu based politician joins the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party and declared publicly his interest to contest in the Kiambu Senatorial seat.
Karungo Wa Thang'wa has been Organizing Secretary of The Service Party (TSP) that is led by Mwangi Kiunjuri but today he ditched the party to join Dp Ruto's camp with a high interest of winning the highly competitive Kiambu senate seat.
Elgeiyo Marakwet Senator Hon Kipchumba Murkomen congratulated Karungo Thangwa on joining the UDA party and wished him well in his senatorial quest, "we wish you all the best our brother @Karungo Thangwa as you pursue your dream to the dream to be the Senator of Kiambu county through @UDAKenya. Godspeed!" Murkomen wrote.
Ruto's camp has been receiving defectors of various political parties and it is likely to grow big before the end of this year as the politics in the country are intensifying.
