Sabina Chege, the Murang'a Woman representative, has chastised Deputy President William Ruto for demanding an apology from President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga about the Building Bridges Initiative amendment bill.
Ruto asked Handshake leaders on Friday to apologize to Kenyans for squandering four years pushing for the BBI rather than development, and to return the money they used in BBI process.
She informed the DP that his request for an apology would be denied, but said that Kenyans deserved an apology for the Kimwarer dam.
"I overheard them pleading with Raila the Fifth and President Uhuru to apologize to Kenyans for the cash spent altering the BBI bill. I want to reassure them that this will not happen unless and until they reveal the truth about Kimwarer dam. Kenyans, too, require an apology," Chege stated.
