The pressure is relentlessly being put on Ford Kenya party leader who is also the National Assembly speaker and his ANC counterpart who is the Prime Cabinet Secretary Hon Musalia Mudavadi to consider folding their traditional parties in favour of joining a mega UDA.
The current leaders to urge the two mentioned leaders are leaders from Trans Nzoia county who are seeing it wise to join UDA.
According to the Trans Nzoia leaders, UDA is mega and they have compared it to a supermarket.
On the contrary, they have viewed both Ford Kenya and ANC as kiosks hence they say kiosks cannot be compared to a supermarket.
''Hatuwezi linganisha supermarket na kiosk, vunjeni Ford Kenya na ANC,'' the leaders said.
Ford Kenya only has one governor Mr Ken Lusaka who is the governor of Bungoma and one senator Mr Wafula Wakoli who is also the senator of Bungoma.
For the ANC party it does not have any governor or senator as it only has MPs and MCAs elected on the party ticket.
Hence, the two parties jointly only have one governor.
