With the next years, General Election getting nearer and nearer each day, political leaders and political parties have been having a closed-door meeting as they shape up for the much-awaited polls. Presidential hopes hopefuls have been meeting with various grassroots and opinion leaders as they increase their political bases.
Deputy President William Ruto has been meeting with various grassroots leaders at his Karen residence. The second in command has been also meeting with United Democratic Alliance (UDA) aspirants across the country at his residence who are planning to vie for elective seats in 2022.
And today, DP Ruto is expected to have a forum with UDA registered aspirants from four Counties at his Karen residence. The four counties are:
1. Tharaka Nithi County
2. Meru County
3. Nyeri County
4. Laikipia County
DP Ruto has been marketing his economic model of the Bottom-up approach as he seeks to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta when he finishes his second term in August next.
