Political temperatures have been on the rise ahead of the 2022 general elections with political leaders regrouping themselves into alliances in order to win the hearts of many Kenyans. Some key leaders that have already publicly declared their interest in succeeding President Uhuru Kenyatta are Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi, United Democratic Alliance cult leader William Ruto, and Governor Alfred Mutua.
The Orange Democratic Movement party boss Raila Odinga is also believed to be a force to reckon with in the coming 2022 presidential race. Raila, who is also the Special Envoy for the Africa Union (AU) managing infrastructure across the continent, has mammoths of supporters across the country, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria, South Africa and other countries. He is popular for his exemplary leadership skills which has earned him many names like 'Father of Democracy' and Baba which is a term used to refer to his unbiased love, care and fight for everyone.

Among his close political allies is the Embakasi East Member of Parliament Hon. Babu Owino who has been strongly campaign for his 2022 presidential bid. The Nairobi Metropolitan legislator today took to his official social media pages and urged Kenyans to be wise in their decision, stating that what had been lost in the fire shall be found in the ashes. Hon. Babu Owino added that Baba must be President while Deputy President William Ruto a resident. Below is the Facebook post by the prominent and vocal lawmaker:
“What we lost in the FIRE we shall find in the Ashes. Baba must be PRESIDENT Ruto must be RESIDENT,” Babu Owino wrote on his page.
