His eminence professor Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba, a distinguished pan-african orator and a legal maverick in the high court's of Kenya and United republic of Tanzania has officially delivered his tribute apropos of the untimely death of President John Pombe Magufuli.
Through a two-minute video uploaded on the PLO Lumumba Foundations social media pages, the distinguished professor of law on behalf of the foundation has mourned the loss of Magufuli who he says was a courageous leader who took a lot of risk to make sure Tanzania is on progress.
In the touching condolence message which was delivered in excellent Swahili language, professor Lumumba said that he believes the admirers of Magufuli in the entire African continent will ensure that his ideology lives to eternity.
He further referred to the late Tanzanian leader as a hero who has got all reasons to be respected. He also took the opportunity to to congratulate Mama Samia Suluhu Hassan who was sworn in as the 6th president of the country a few days ago as dictated by the country's constitution.
Lumumba reiterated that he prays that God gives Samia the courage, zeal and perfect ideology to spearhead what has been left for her.
The late Magufuli is expected to be intered in his home in Chato tomorrow after his body was taken around major towns and cities to give residents a chance to view his body and pay their last respects.
