Governor Nyong'o Likely To Retain His Seat Comfortably, As Ojienda Wins Unopposed, Latest Polls Say

Kisumu governor Professor Peter Anyan'g Nyon'go, will easily retain his seat in the forthcoming general elections if the latest opinion polls by Mizani Africa are anything to go by.

The Orange Democratic Movement party Governor is the most popular candidate with a popularity rating of 59% against former governor Jack Ranguma who enjoys support of 39.4%.

According to the same polls, Awuor Beryl Meso comes a distant third with a paltry 1.4% as those who are yet to decide on their Preffered gubernatorial candidate standing at 0.2%.

This would propel Nyong'o to his second and last term having beaten Ranguma in 2017 with a big margin.
