Just Like George Saitoti Before Plane Crash, DP Ruto Has High Chances Becoming President in 2022

George Saitoti at the time was the Interior Cabinet Minister, a slot that he was appointed to by Mwai Kibaki even after the power-sharing government was formed between Raila Odinga and President Mwai Kibaki.

Between 2010 and 2011 after the current Bungoma Senator stepped down for investigation over alleged involvement in corruption, Saitoti acted as the Foreign affairs minister.

Just like Ruto today as the country heads for the 2022 general elections, Saitoti in 2022 was posed to be the favorite to win the 2013 general elections with his 30 years’ experience in politics and succeed President Mwai Kibaki.

Currently, Deputy President William Samoei Ruto is without doubt the favorite presidential candidate that has threatened to snatch away the Presidency from his rivals giving the so-called deep state, sleepless nights. He is widely accepted by many Kenyans and politicians from different regions.

Same as when Saitoti claimed that some people, especially KANU forces, were fighting his political influence within the PNU camp to deny him a chance to vie for the 2012 presidential elections, DP Ruto was forced to leave the Jubilee Party after his allies revealed that there are some people within Uhuru’s circle working day and night, to prevent him from ascending to the presidency.

George saitoti depicted traits of patience and caution when dealing with his political opponents just like how Ruto’s camp is demonstrating right now until he was involved in a chopper crash a few months before the 2012 general elections.

Many alleged that Saitoti stood in the way of the system, in simpler terms, he was an obstacle and was eliminated to allow smooth operation of the country by the system.

Ruto has the Hustler Nation and Movement narrative, that established a formidable group of politicians to help him become the President, a movement that most Kenyans seem to have embraced fast, indeed a political threat to other opponents who are probably jealous and has higher chances for that seat.

As the country heads into the 2022 general elections with just a few months remaining, DP Ruto is the main man, a man to watch, a man who has amassed supporters from all over the country but there is also the system, a circle of people Raila Odinga have long been accusing of controlling how the country should be ruled.
