Gatundu South Member of Parliament Hon Moses Kuria has convened with Kiambu County Members of County Assembly with the agenda impeaching Governor James Nyoro.
"MP Moses Kuria holding a meeting with Kiambu County MCAs; says they are ready to impeach Governor James Nyoro," the report read.
Moses Kuria has also confirmed the details of the meeting stating that the reason why they will be punishing the Kiambu Governor is because of his criminal conduct calling upon the Director of Public Prosecution to intervene.
The Gatundu South Legislator has also revealed that after their meeting the Members of County Assembly have also promised to move an impeachment motion against their governor.
"We have held several discussions with Kiambu MCAs regarding the criminal conduct of Governor James Nyoro. As the DPP takes up the matter following the directions of the IEBC, the MCAs will concurrently move to impeach Dr. Nyoro," Moses Kuria jas confirmed.
According to the IEBC, they had condemned the move by the Kiambu Governor to interfere with votes counting exercise at Juja terming alit as an act of hooliganism.
