Speculations rife after two Western ODM MPs attend Luhya leaders meeting at State House Nairobi

President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua today hosted a delegation of senior leaders from expansive Western region for a consultative meeting at State House Nairobi.

Among the attendees per photo shared by TV 47 Kenya on its official Facebook page, are two elected members of parliament from the region. The duo included; Lurambi legislator Titus Khamala and Navakholo legislator Emmanuel Wagwe.

Both Emmanuel Wagwe and Titus Khamala were elected on a ODM party ticket. Khamala was initially a member of ANC party and ditched the party few months to August polls to ODM party to defend his Lurambi parliamentary seat.

Emmanuel Wagwe was a member of then ruling Jubilee party before decamping to ODM party to defend for a second time is Navakholo parliamentary seat. He is the former immediate majority chief whip in the national assembly.

Other Luhya leaders present in today meeting included; Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, national assembly speaker Moses Wetangula, Kakamega senator who doubles as majority whip in senate Bonny Khawlale and COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli.

Others included; former Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala, former Mumias East MP Benjamin Washiali and former sports cabinet secretary Rashid Echesa.
