Another Orange Democratic Movement Party Leader from Kisii County has openly delivered signals that his heart doesn't belong to the ODM Camp anymore and that it is a matter of time before he openly endorses Ruto's 2022 Presidential Bid.
This follows the confirmation of claims and reports that Kisii Deputy Governor Hon Joshua Maangi (who was elected with the ODM Party) has agreed to host DP Ruto during his Nyanza region trip which is expected to take place on Monday. Speaking to the standard newspaper on Sunday, the Raila-Allied leader stated that the time has come for kenyans to be allowed to make informed and independent political decisions without being pushed to the wall.
Details revealed by Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi (coordinator of the tour) indicated that Ruto will visit South Mugirango and Nyamarambee on Monday morning.
“He will visit South Mugirango Constituency where he will launch two new buses for two secondary schools in the area before addressing members of the public at Nyamarambe,” Maangi said.
At the same time, unverified claims and reports from those in the know have now claimed that Ruto is out there trying to tame Raila's allies in the region such as Kakamega Governor Hon Oparanya, Governor Obado, Governor Rasanga as well as attempts to tame James Orengo who is said to have allegedly clashed with the ODM Leadership over his plans to challenge Opiyo Wudanyi during the upcoming 2022 Governor race of Siaya.
All the same, do you believe that Deputy Governor Joshua Maangi will agree with Ruto? Do you think that Ruto will successfully win the liked of James Orengo and Governor Obado who are perceived as strong allies of Raila? Well time will tell!
