Kenya on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 observed the National celebrations day of Mashujaa.
This year’s mashujaa day was held at the Wangura stadium in Kirinyaga county. Governor Waiguru was the official Master of Ceremony.
Being Uhuru’s last mashujaa day celebration as the President, he avoided local politics but concentrated on the maritime issue with neighboring country Somalia. Uhuru declared that not an inch of the Kenyan border will be touched.
Deputy President William Ruto promised Uhuru that he will make sure he continues his legacy through the bottom up approach.
Kenyans were eager and monitored every movement the DP made since he arrived at the stadium. A video online showing Ruto greeting Governor Joho was shared online attracting massive reactions.
The video shows Ruto and Joho having a hearty conversation and both leaders laughing before Ruto proceeded to his seat.
