Uhuru's Prophecy About Elections Unfolds, Ruto Becomes The Biggest Loser After This Happened

The presidential race narrowed down to a two-horse race between Deputy president William Ruto of Kenya Kwanza alliance and ODM boss Raila Odinga of Azimio One Kenya coalition as they are busy seeking to succeed President Uhuru.

Days after William Ruto and Raila announced their running mates, a new poll has shown who between the two is ahead. The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition flag bearer Raila Odinga shot seven points to 39 percent after naming Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua as his running mate.

Ruto who named Rigathi Gachagua dropped to 35 percent from 39 percent few weeks ago. Today's poll was conducted on May 17 2022 just a day after Odinga unveiled his deputy.

5 months ago President Uhuru Kenyatta in an indirect statement cautioned his deputy over early campaigns and said politics is not a sprint but a marathon.

"You can start early (campaigns) with speed but before long you are tired and the person you branded old will come at his pace and overtake you," Uhuru Kenyatta once said.

Uhuru went on and urged Kenyans that come 2022 general elections, many will be in for a shock and from today's poll by Tifa it is clear indication that Uhuru's prophecy has come to pass and Ruto became the biggest loser after he ignored Uhuru and went ahead with early campaigns.
