The political muscles continue taking the country by storm and the tension is building across the country. With elections nearing, the country security needs to be tighten. The recently conducted by-elections saw leaders arrested and police were seen engaging civilians.
With 2022 general elections there could be more of these witnessed but DPP Noordin Haji has other thoughts. He has sent out this tough warning to IG Hillary Mutyambai men. According to DPP Nordin Haji.
""The ODPP has intiated human rights manuals to deal with human rights abuse & police excessive. Through this, we have also engaged with the police & the public through the program which we have with Haki Africa. We are pushing for capacity so as to enable us investigate police independently. Portmortem is important & we hope this can be undertaken in murder cases by all communities especially Muslim communities who don't perform it". Noordin Haji stated.
