Yesterday, after Agricultural Cs Peter Munya, the cabinet secretary for agriculture, made some strange comments about Deputy President William Ruto, a group of Meru residents heckled him.
Munya was heard accusing William Ruto of planning to arrest and charge Uhuru Kenyatta after the general elections on August 9 in a video clip shared by a well-known Meru page.
However, the audience scornfully rejected his claims and begged him to stop misleading the country.
Munya has had trouble criticizing William Ruto in Meru and the adjacent areas.
The Cs has made it clear that he will back Raila Odinga and his other top choices in the August presidential election. There are many Kenya Kwanza fans in central Kenya, which might be a sign that the situation is different.
Raila and his allies are currently camped out nearby in an effort to get more local Kenyans to back the Azimio OKA alliance.
