What President Ruto Promised South Sudan Counterpart After Meeting Him in Juba

President William Ruto jetted out of the country earlier this morning to South Sudan where he has held bilateral talks with the President of the country that is a few years old.

President Salva Kiir was at hand to welcome the Kenyan President to Juba in South Sudan where they held talks as President Ruto is on a day long visit of the country.

The two leader's talks centered around making the two countries' relationship stronger through trade.

According to the available reliable reports that we have with us from President William Ruto while in South Sudan, he has promised his counterpart that Kenya will facilitate the movement of goods from Mombasa to South Sudan.

President Ruto has promised Salva Kiir that the cost effective movement of goods from The Port of Mombasa to South Sudan will be made very easier.

The construction of the LAPSSET transport corridor has made the movement of goods from Mombasa to South Sudan much easier.

The President is also expected to inspect the progress of the LAPSSET transport corridor as per the reports that we have with us.
