Jubilee party Nominated MP Maina Kamanda has stated that both Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi are 'wasting their time' in popularizing their presidential bid, since they could not win against Deputy President William Ruto or ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Kamanda who spoke with the Star yesterday argued that the duo are facing unnecessary pressure from their allies, yet they are aware they cannot make it to State House, and the earlier they join Raila the better for their future political careers.
The now close ally of the former Prime Minister added that the duos allies were only pursuing their personal interests to win their respective grassroots support without looking at the bigger picture, national politics.
"I have said it is time the two leaders decided on their political future without yielding to pressure from selfish allies. I know that if they thought out, they would not run for president," said Kamanda.
The long served Nairobi's legislator opined that the leaders will have a soft spot if they swallow a humble pie and join Raila since he seems as the 2022 potential winner.
