NARC Kenya party leader Martha Karua is a good example that can be used to justify the push for 2/3 gender rule. That is because Martha Karua has always been demonstrating that what a man can do in politics, a woman can do better. She has been fighting difficult battles in the field of politics and she has been overcoming every tough situation coming her way. That may be the main reason why she is still relevant and influential in the national politics yet she isn't in government.

Since the BBI story came up, Martha Karua together with other prominent people like Makueni County Kivutha Kibwana, Boniface Mwangi, David Ndii and others have been rejecting it, but yesterday, they suffered a big blow after Kivutha Kibwana changed tune to start drumming support for the BBI Bill. That came as a shock not only to his 'Linda Katiba' team but also to the whole nation.

Kivutha Kibwana's move prompted Professor Makau Mutua to react, something that angered Martha Karua who broke his silence on Kibwana's move before sending a tough question to Makau Mutua.

"What happened to your crystal ball? Answers should be fairly easy." Tweeted Martha Karua.
