In A Contest Between William Ruto And Moi; Ruto Will Smile All The Way To The State House In 2022

Deputy President William Ruto is undoubtedly the chest master when it comes to the daily political battles in the country. His oratory skills can only be compared to the former United States President Barack Obama. Whenever he stands up to speak, he will always gain a number of supporters who will turn out to be his biggest followers. When it comes to the Baringo senator Gideon Moi, the tables are upside down. The oratory skills seems to have been missed during his initiation to the political field. He cannot converse in a political language for long something which William Ruto can do for hours without boring the audience.

Gideon Moi has always insinuated that he is not a pushover in the race to occupy the house in the hill. He failed to convince the less than 50 members of County Assembly when they were voting for the Building Bridges Initiative bill (BBI) before it was taken to parliament. His county was the first to reject the document and yet he claims to have the ambition of leading the country. He has always shown publicly that he is not in good terms with Dr Ruto and in one instance, Ruto was left to pace up and down in the home of the late Daniel Moi when he had gone to visit him. This act only helped the deputy president get sympathy support from the electorates as people will see him as a loner and someone hailing from a humble background and hated by the 'big boys'.

As the race for presidency hots up, Moi has joined a coalition with leaders who have been in the political arena for long. They are all aspiring to be at the helm come 2022 general elections. When the campaigns starts, William Ruto will only need 5 minutes to deconstruct the Baringo senator who will in turn be unable to fight back. The second in command is very energetic, and he can tour five counties in a day and in the event of a war between him and Moi ensues, Moi will have to reconsider his decision of vying.

William Ruto is considered to be the Rift Valley Kingpin but this title has angered Gideon Moi so much. He cannot stand the thought of bowing down to William Ruto.
