ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has told ODM leader Raila Odinga to prepare for defeat on August presidential election alleging that DP William Ruto will garner huge votes.
Musalia opines that Azimio chairman Uhuru Kenyatta's decision not to accompany Raila during political campaigns will work against him.
According to Musalia, Jubilee leader Uhuru has left Mr Odinga to fight alone for Mt Kenya votes.
Musalia, DP Ruto and Moses Wetangula rallied Kilifi county on Sunday popularizing 'bottom up' agendas. Ruto got a warm reception from a mammoth crowd who chanted pro-Kenya Kwanza slogans. His rally was to prove whether coastal region was fully supporting his competitor Raila.
Raila nominated Martha Karua as his running mate to consolidate his support in Mt Kenya. However, Ruto's running mate Rigathi Gachagua fired at Karua saying that she had no following in her backyard. He also claimed that Raila's plan to depend on Karua to salvage his presidential ambition would not succeed.
