The race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022 is beginning to gain momentum ahead of the election year as he will be retiring.

Another candidate recently made known his bid for the presidency and resigned from his position at UNCTAD to go for the top seat come 2022.

Dr Mukhisa Kituyi is expected to jet into the country today and is expected to officially launch his presidential bid.

The Presidential aspirant has sent a message to Kenyans ahead of his return asking Kenyans to converge for a brief conversation with him.

"Thank you Kenyans. We shall restore our lost glory. Today, I will be jetting in to my mother land. Lets converge and a brief conversation. Kenya moja. Leo ni Leo," Dr Mukhisa Kituyi said.

In his words, the presidential aspirant is yet to kick off the most scintillating campaign,full of achievable manifesto.

He has vowed not to sugar coating things, not to dance to reggae tunes and not to lie to Kenyans.
