The Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition, under former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's leadership, has now revealed on who made him abandon his planned demonstrations and mass action against President William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza Government.
In a statement via Citizen TV on Twitter, Azimio, through National Assembly Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi, said that the Coalition had listened to pleas from parents of candidates sitting the national exams and that they resolved to abandon the protests for a later date.

“We have decided to reschedule the start of our public engagements from November 30 to December 7 this year due to the ongoing national examinations. We have listened keenly to the appeals of parents and our school-going children and we have decided to obey their wishes,” said Wandayi.
This came after Raila Odinga had staged a demonstration at President Ruto over a plan by him to kick out the four IEBC Commissioners out of their offices.
