Barely days after Kiambu senatorial aspirant Karungo Thangwa who worked as The Service Party organising secretary decamped to Ruto's United Democratic Alliance party, director of political affairs in the Kiunjuri led party John Methu has also decamped to the Hustlers party.
John Methu while decamping to Ruto's side stated that the decision came after soul searching and after understanding the need of his constituents.
"The future of a county and by extension of a country is premised on its investment on good leaders," Methu said.
John Methu contested for the same seat in 2017 and came second after senator Githiomi. He has been playing an active role in popularising TSP party in Nyandarua county and the Mount Kenya at large. This is a big blow to Kiunjuri who is slowly moving away from Ruto after the second in command insisted that he will not form Coalition with tribal parties.
