The Former Prime Minister, Rt. Raila Amollo Odinga's visit to Mount Kenya region has finally taken shape as reports have emerged that he has arrived in Gilgil, Nakuru County ahead of a crucial event whose thematic agenda lies on the Convention of all Israel Churches of Kenya.
He has been warmly received by the Church protocols as the Chief Guest at the Annual Event after which he will reportedly address residents concerning the 2022 politics.
Despite of having a close relationship with His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta who is Mount Kenya region's bigwig, Raila Odinga was earlier reminded that the votes from the region are not necessarily interconnected with the perceived endorsement from the head of state. With that, it's likely that he'll use the chance as an opportunity to plant his political ambitions in the region ahead of 2022.
This comes shortly after the self proclaimed Chief of Hustlers and Deputy President of Kenya, Honourable William Ruto stormed his commonly perceived doorstep, Migori County, Nyanza region ahead of another critical event at Awendo SDA Church where a fund drive was expected to be held.
