The immediate former Kakamega County governor Wycliffe Oparanya, is set to Preside over the 10th Laker Region Economic Bloc Summit that will take place from the 20th of November to 21st November.
The bloc brings together 14 governors however, Oparanya still remains its chairperson since there has never been a meeting since the August polls.
The Governors set to attend the event include; Nyong'o himself, Governors; Simba Arati of Kisii, Amos Nyaribo Nyamira, Ochilo Ayako Migori, Gladys Wanga Homabay, James Orengo Siaya.
Others are Wilberforce Otichillo of Vihiga, Fernandes Barasa Kakamega, Paul Otuoma Busia, Kenneth Lusaka of Bungoma, George Natembeya of Transzoia, Stephen Sang Nandi, Erick Mutahi Kericho, and Hillary Bachok of Bomet.
According to Nyon'go, the Summit will take place at Ciala Resort Kisumu city.

The Theme of the summit will be "Laying the Foundation for Sustainable Utilization of Shared Resources".
