"I Will Visit Ruto in His Home if He Defeats us" Jubilee MP Aspirant Says

The political season is yet again here with us and leaders are doing anything possible to win in the August polls. The nominations are now over and all eyes are focused on the bigger prize.

Thika Town parliamentary aspirant, David Ngari Gakuyo, has come out to say that he holds no grudge with the deputy president William Ruto.

Addressing Thika residents on Wednesday, Gakuyo said that even though he supports the Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga, he has no problem if Kenyans elect Dr William Ruto to be the next occupant of State House.

The Jubilee party aspirant alluded that in the event that William Ruto is announced to be the fifth president, he will walk to his home and congratulate him. Gakuyo added that from henceforth he would start recognizing Ruto as Baba.

"If our side is defeated by William Ruto, I will be the first person to congratulate him. I will walk to his home and start recognizing him as Baba from there henceforth. I hold no personal grudge with him," alluded the politician.

David Gakuyo who is also a renowned pastor and entrepreneur is on record criticizing DP Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza faction. Gakuyo will be running for the Thika parliamentary seat on a Jubilee party ticket. He will be facing off with the former Thika Town MP, Alice Ng'ang'a, who is vying on a UDA party ticket.
