The new Acting Director of Criminal Investigation boss, Mr. Hamisi Massa, has told off the Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua, over the issue of probing them.
"When we come for you ,we can be very polite, but we will be firm. We will not be unprofessional or combative when doing raids . We will do the enforcement with a human face. We will take you to court when you smile. "The Acting Director of Criminal Investigation said
This comment led to different reactions from Kenyans.
"Wacha kiherehere boss," one of the reactions read.
Mr. Massa was appointed by the National Police Service Commission (NPSC) after his predecessor, George Kinoti, resigned. The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) declared the position vacant and asked qualified candidates to apply for it.
It is in the book of records that the Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua, criticised the former DCI boss, George Kinoti, for not being independent. However ,many Kenyans believe that the current DCI will be very independent.
