This comes as the former ODM member has had a 2 day meeting with the second in command Deputy president William Ruto.
Also present has been former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar as the DP looks to drum up support for his presidential ambition in the coastal region which has been for long seen as ODM chief Raila Odinga's 'stronghold'
"Day 2.Done and dusted. Mombasa is yellow." the former TV presenter has said via his Facebook page following a two day engagement with DP Ruto.
Just yesterday another ODM outcast Aisha Jumwa pledged to stand with UDA in the coastal region and probably use it as the vehicle to contest in 2022.
This comes just days after ODM leader Raila Odinga toured the Coastal region sending a signal to his political rivals that his grand march to State House in 2022 has began.
Raila, who won the hearts of some influential politicians during the tour, hinted that it was just the beginning of many surprises to be witnessed in the country.
