Vocal Kieleweke legislator for Kieni Constituency Hon Kanini Kega has issued a tough statement denouncing remarks issued by a group of leaders who had converged in Naivasha on Monday 20th. According to the Kieni Member of the he was not part of that group that endorsed former Gichugu Member Of Parliament Hon. Martha Karua as the spokesperson of the Mt Kenya region. Taking to his Twitter handle, the vocal Kieleweke legislator allied to President Uhuru Kenyatta has announced that his opinion and Political Stand is not that of Moses Kuria, Mwangi Kiunjuri and Martha Karua.
The three leaders, that is Moses Kuria for Gatundu South, Martha Karua leader NARC Kenya and former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri have been having a series of meeting time at uniting the region. However, according to the statement given by the Kieni legislator, the efforts by the three leaders to ensure that Mt Kenya region speaks in one voice have suffered a major setback.
