On Tuesday morning, United Democratic Alliance (UDA) temporarily locked out members of the press from their ongoing National Delegates Convention at Kasarani Stadium gymnasium.
"They are having their National Executive Council and National Governing Council meetings. They are just trying to put their house in order."Citizen TV reporter Francis Gachuri reported.
During the meeting , they are expected to reveal whether they will going ahead with their signing coalition agreements with other top leaders among them ANC and Ford Kenya parties.
Earlier, most of the Kenyans were in darkness since most of the television stations were not airing the event live as it had been expected by most of them.
Among the leaders present are UDA SG Veronica Maina, chairman Johnstone Muthama, Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua and Kandara MP Alice WahomeRuto arrived at the stadium as songs were sung as the delegates danced and shouted.
He is expected to be crowned as the as the UDA's presidential flagbearer.Ruto will face Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga in the August elections.
