DP Gachagua missing as Ruto and Prime CS Mudavadi wraps up four- day Nanyuki Cabinet Retreat

President William Ruto has today wrapped up the four- day cabinet retreat at Fairmont Mount Safari Hotel in Nanyuki, Nyeri county.

The retreat which began on Thursday was attended by all cabinet secretaries, principal secretaries and senior government officials including the presidential advisors.

According to photos shared by president William Ruto on his official Facebook page, Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua was however missing in the closure ceremony of the four- day cabinet retreat.

Chief cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi was pictured sitting alongside the head of state in the two front seats.

" Wrapped up the cabinet retreat at Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari club in Nyeri county; agreed to accelerate the implementation of development projects" said president William Ruto through a statement on his official Facebook page.

Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua had retreated at his Mathira constituency in the same county per photos shared by Mathira legislator Eric Mwangi on his official Facebook page.

" Welcomed His Excellency the deputy president to his home constituency, Mathira" posted Mathira MP Eric Mwangi.
