The vocal Nyali constituency member of parliament Hon. Mohammed Ali popularly known as Jicho Pevu has found himself in a hot soup after his remarks on Raila Odinga and Martha Karua presidential ticket.
The lawmaker who was speaking with NTV Kenya shortly after Odinga unveiled Martha Karua as his running mate said that there is nothing big with Raila Karua combination since they have nothing to offer to people of Kenya.
He further noted that even with Martha Karua as a running mate, the deputy president William Ruto will still outsmart Raila Odinga in the vote rich Mount Kenya region.
"There is nothing big with Raila- Martha Karua combination," he said.
Kenyans especially those supporting the Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga did not take his remarks positively hence were forced to fire back at him.
"Somebody to tell Mohammed Ali that the earth is already gone, am very much far from Mombasa to deliver the message to him," Kennedy Komito.
" What is big about Ruto Rigathi combination? That is what you should be telling Kenyans," Lexon Koech.
Others also told him that he is making such statements because they did not get the opportunity to have Martha Karua on their camp otherwise they would also be celebrating.
"You have started having sleepless nights in just three hours? Don't cry sir, nyumbani unaenda," Alfred Ongeri
"Tunajua inakuuma lakini itabidi uzoee, wacha machungu kwa siasa," Ocent Mill.
