Today four IEBC officials had a press meeting at Serena hotel in Nairobi, where they were addressing the media on their decision and reasons why they decided not be part of the IEBC presidential results that were being announced by IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati yesterday at Bomas ,where he announced William Samoei Ruto as the fifth presidential elect.
One of the major reasons they gave was there was an error of computation. That marked the total percentage figure for the four presidential candidate to 100.01% and according to her these percentages represented a total of 140,000 votes.Which she said would have added an impact to the total results Achieved .
Check the results that Baby Owino Achieved.which according to correct calculation he is wrong.
But netizen ganged up saying there was no way that percentage error could sum up to that figure.Given the approximate voter turn out was 14,000,000 kenyans.
Some through their own calculation arrived at different figures some getting lower values and others getting the same figures as hers.
Babu Owino through her page did a total calculation and achieved the 140,000votes as a representation of the error count.
However through correct calculation the correct figure ought to be 1400votes.
This is because 0.01% of 14000000 would be 0.01/100 then multiply by 14000000
This would bring 1400
