The United Democratic party deputy president candidate Hon Rigathi Gachagua has sent a message to the president Uhuru Kenyatta over accusations that his deputy neglected his state duties during the second term of the Jubilee government tenure.
Addressing the rally at Chogoria, Tharaka Nithi County the Mathira constituency Member of Parliament Hon Rigathi Gachagua alleged that his party boss served kenyans very well until the former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga joined the government through the handshake.
He told the president to accept that the former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga failed him after their agreement through the handshake. He told the president to keep away from the Campaigns and wait for a peaceful hand over of his leadership under the new government as this will help the state to progress and not poking holes to the competitors.
He urged the residents to remain peaceful as they wait to vote for the deputy president William Samoei Ruto during the August general polls.
