More Trouble Looming In OKA As Mudavadi Kicks Out Key Ally Over Ruto Funding Remarks

The One Kenya Alliance (OKA) party is experiencing more trouble after reports of sharp divisions within the alliance as the key principals try to maintain their coalition ahead of the 2022 general election.

And after numerous allegations that the alliance is being funded by Deputy President William as alleged by Lugari Member of Parliament Hon Ayub Savula, the Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi has reprimanded Lugari legislator.

This comes after Savula earlier claimed that the DP was funding three of his colleagues with Ksh 50,000 weekly to spy on the OKA principals and that the legislators were pushing for an alliance between the Mudavadi's ANC and Ruto's United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

“Members of the group receive Sh50,000 each every week to create the impression that ANC is about to join UDA,” Savula noted.

However, in a quick response, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has reprimanded the Lugari legislator for his utterance noting that Savula's remarks should be disregarded.

"Utterances by persons purporting to hold office and therefore speak for and on behalf of the party should be largely disregarded by the media. By this notice, we abrogate all utterances stated by Hon Ayub Angatia Savula in a purported capacity of deputy party leader," Mudavadi stated.
