UDA Constitutes Elections Board to Oversee First Party Nominations

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has established its National Elections Board (NEB) in accordance with the IEBC's criteria. The board will oversee the party's nomination process, ensuring that it is transparent and that member grievances are addressed. Deputy President William Ruto has requested the NEC and the NEB to collaborate closely in order to ensure that party members and aspirants are accorded their democratic rights. The National Elections Board (NEB) of the United Democratic Alliance has been formed to monitor the party's nominations.

Deputy President William Ruto presided over a joint meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and the National Elections Board (NEB) at Karen on Tuesday, January 25.

The party's National Elections Board (NEB), which includes Eng. Anthony Mwaura, Salome Beacco, Aurelia Rono, Ummi Bashir, Matiko Chacha, Raphael Chimera, and Halake Dida, was introduced at the event.

"Deputy President William Ruto, who is also the party leader, today chaired a joint meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and National Elections Board (NEB) at Karen."

"The NEB members who were formally inaugurated are Eng. Anthony Mwaura, Salome Beacco, Aurelia Rono, Ummi Bashir, Matiko Chacha, Raphael Chimera and Halake Dida," read the statement by the party.
