Twist On Uhuru-Raila Plans To Form 2022 Coalition As Kalonzo's Camp Opposes It

According to media reports, President Uhuru Kenyatta and Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga have tasked their foot soldiers to immediately launch a plan to bring the ruling Jubilee Party and the ODM party into a coalition agreement.

According to reports, the two leaders wanted to create a new political movement in the spirit of their handshake agreement in order to take on deputy president William Ruto in the 2022 elections.

However, there is a new twist in the plan, as Wiper Democratic Movement party leader Kalonzo Musyoka's Camp has come out to say that they are strongly opposed to President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga's plan.

Kalonzo's camp, through the Party's organizing secretary Robert Mbui, says they oppose the plan because it will cause confusion because an alliance similar to the One Kenya Alliance already exists (OKA).

"Let us not have different factions because we will not have good leadership if we do. As a result, we urge Jubilee and ODM to join the One Kenya Alliance in order to build a united nation capable of delivering for our people "Wiper stated.
