Musalia Mudavadi Speaks of Dissolving OKA, Opens Up On The Alleged Plan To Support Raila in 2022

Amani National Congress Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi has cleared the air on the allegations that they plan to dissolve the One Kenya Alliance rubbishing claims on the claims that they plan to support former Prime Minister Raila Odinga presidential bid in 2022.

Speaking in a Wednesday morning interview with one of the local media stations, the ANC party leader has informed that even though Kenyans see him campaign for his statehouse bid, it does not mean that they are dissolving the One Kenya Alliance explaining that they are still engaged in talks with other teams.

According to Mudavadi, he has said that even for those Kenyans who has been pushing for the OKA to declare who will be their common flagbearer among Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper, Gideon Moi of KANU, and him, they should be patient making it clear that,

“The talks have to be amicable. We are giving each other time. The deadline for coalition agreement would be March," Mudavadi has said.

"Give us time. When I sell ANC, I promote myself and my party. The same is the case of Kalonzo, Weta, and Gideon. We will get to a point of consensus,” the former Vice President has added.

After being questioned about who he prefers to be his running mate and the region of his choice, Musalia Mudavadi has failed to give a name citing that it's too early, however stating that the options are open for a countrywide selection saying that " We must tell Kenyans everyone has a chance and a running mate can come from anywhere."
