Kawira Mwangaza, the governor of Meru county, has responded to those who have criticized her and her performance of official duties in Meru county. The governor of Meru, Kawira Mwangaza, declared that nothing would deter her from carrying out the duties for which she was chosen by the residents of Meru.
Governor Kawira Mwangaza subsequently remarked that "Ground ni maendeleo. Waendelee lakini lazima kazi iendelee, kama watanichukia kwa sababu ya kutembea kusupervise kazi ambayo ni kazi yangu ". Meaning that individuals who are mad at her for carrying out her tasks should keep being mad at her since she has a job to complete in Meru county.
This comes barely few weeks after her impeachment case took another turn. The Senate rescued her from being impeached by Meru MCAs where she was told to solve their issues once and for all.
