Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri has taken to his social media handle to share the sad news of losing a close family friend.
According to Ngunjiri, the departed lady identified as Lilian had close ties with his family given that they both worked together at personal and leadership levels in enhancing family success and that of the people of Bahati Constituency.
The Mp visited the deceased family and shared his condolences message as they mourned the death of the woman he called a matriarch.
"Today is a sad day for me and my family. Immediately after I learnt of the demise of Mrs Mwarangu. I eulogized with the family of Mwarangu at Umash earlier today. She was such a pillar in our county, Bahati Constituency and she was also a leader. She was a good friend to my family and her children were also a pillar throughout our family life. It's been a hard year but God is in control. R.I.P Matriarch," he noted.
This comes months after the MP lost his son who allegedly succumbed to Covid-19.
