Political tension were so high especially after Deputy president William Ruto said he will announce his preferred running mate today. He has announced his preferred running mate as Rigathi Gachagua. Rigathi Gachagua is the current member of parliament of Mathira.
Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was also expected to announce his preferred running mate but made a decision to announce tommorow. The IEBC gave this presidential aspirants until tommorow to forward the name of their preferred running mate.
After the Deputy president William Ruto has appointed Rigathi Gachagua the Mathira member of parliament, he is expected today to be hosted by Francis Gachuri at Citizen Tv. This information has been released by UDA Member Dennis Itumbi. He is expected to answer some questions to Kenyans and what measures they shall put down to change the economy status of Kenya. It will be an exclusive interview.
