Kericho Governor Paul Chepkwony is a very unique man. Unlike most of his peers,Governor Chepkwony lives a very humble life. This was revealed in his interview in the Kenyan Historian YouTube channel. Chepkwony revealed that he lives in a very humble house that was built in 1937. The governor explained that extravagance is not his thing and revealed that he has only two employees in his home,a gardener and a cook.
The governor revealed that his simple house satisfy him fully. The governor who is serving his second term in office noted that there is no point in having so many body guards as it only attracts enemies and means that one is hiding something.
The governor further revealed that he only travels with one car to Nairobi unlike most politicians that have escort team.

It is worth noting that Governor Chepkwony is also a professor and was an associate lecturer at Moi University. He is a professor of Organic chemistry. He did his undergraduate studies at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology before doing his masters at University of Nairobi.
