Ruto Courts The Methodist Church, Gets Massive Support From MPs

The Deputy President, Hon William Ruto spread his campaign trail to the Methodist Church after he held a service with the Kitengela Methodist Church, in Kajiado County.

Ruto used his Twitter page to report on the successful service with the Methodist Church revealing that the service was also attended by over 20 Members of Parliament, led by Senator Mary Seneta.

"During a prayer service at the Kitengela Methodist Church and the ordination of Pastor Gabriel Riamet of the Free Pentecostal Baraka Church, Kitengela, Kajiado County, accompanied by 21 MP's led by Senator Mary Seneta". Ruto Tweeted.

His tweet attracted lots of reactions mainly from his followers who applauded and encouraged him for his decision to line himself with God and the church as other politicians as busy doing politics. The idea of the 21 MP's who attended the service together with the deputy president showed that many of the political leaders are supporting his 2022political bid.

The deputy president has been making appearances in the church services across the country, and it is alleged that he is using the church to compaign for his 2022 presidential bid. His opponents have bashed and criticised his choice of going the church way terming the move as hypocritical.
