ODM Mounts Pressure on President Uhuru, Informs What He Should Address During Mashujaa Celebration

Pressure on President Uhuru as the Orange Democratic Movement Party informs what he should address during the Mashujaa Celebrations.

ODM National Chairman John Mbadi has informed that what they want from President Uhuru during the Mashujaa day is to address the issue on the plight of Kenyans naming the high cost of living.

Mbadi has said that President Uhuru should know that Kenyans are currently being faced with economic constraints due to the High Cost of living and that life is becoming unbearable.

"Kenyans are looking forward to hearing the President offer solutions to the high cost of living. Life is becoming quite unbearable and the President has a responsibility to address that as part of his legacy,” says National Assembly leader of Minority John Mbadi.

It has been established that President Uhuru will be marking his last Mashujaa day celebration while in office.

Kenyans expect him to address the issue of the dawn-to-dusk curfew and which has annoyed a majority of citizens. Kenyans will be expecting a detailed plan on how the government intends to ensure every Kenyan is vaccinated against the coronavirus disease as well as plans to resuscitate the economy, which includes lifting the 10 pm to 4 am night curfew.

President Uhuru had on Monday hinted that the government will be lifting the curfew stating that “We will look at it. I’m working, and very soon you will hear it. I do not want to speak too early but very soon.”
