As August general elections are just a few days away, politicians have started campaigning for their specific positions. This has been seen clearly whereby the orange democratic leader Raila doing and the deputy president Doctor William Ruto have started to woo voters to support them in the coming elections.
The two mentioned politicians are said to be searching for running mates from the Mount Kenya region. Because the deputy president is alleged to have more support in central Kenya compared to Raila Odinga, odds indicate that there are high chances he will choose a running mate from one of the Mount Kenya regions.
In an interview with the Nation, Murang'a Senator Irung'u Kang'ata asked DP Ruto to consider selecting a Murang'a county contender as his running mate." He believes Murang'a is led by strong leaders who would catapult Dp Ruto to the presidency. The outspoken politician proposed that DP Ruto consider Kandara MP Hon Alice Wahome and Kiharu MP Hon Ndindi Nyoro. Nyoro, he adds, still seems to be younger and would make a fantastic running buddy.
