Explained: Why Nominated MP David Sankok Is Not Seeking Any Elective Post In The August General Elections

Nominated MP David Sankok has explained why he is not seeking an elective post in the August General Election.

Sankok while speaking to the press on phone revealed that he needs humble time to do his businesses and this is the reason why his particulars will miss on the ballot.

"The idea of vying or not vying is a personal idea. I opted not to contest this time, all I want is humble time need to concentrate on my business," he told the press on Monday.

He added that he started fighting for the interest of persons living with disability at a tender age, and he never had good time to concentrate on his business.

"Since I started fighting for the interest of people living with disability long time ago, I never had enough time to engage on my business."

Sankok, however, maintained that even though he will not contest for any elective post, he will go on to fight for the interests of people with disabilities.

He also commented on his work in Parliament noting that he has contributed immensely in debates concerning national problems, as well as issues related to PLWDs.
