The security of the USA Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden has been enhanced with the former Vice President widely expected to be declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election.
Biden is only six College votes away before being declared the President-elect.
President Donald Trump is trailing with 214 College votes amid claims by the Republicans that the vote has been rigged.
Amid all this, Biden's home in Wilmington, Delaware, has been designated as restricted security area, along with one other location in the city.
According to the Independent, the area has been designated as " National Defence Airspace"
As per the Federal Aviation Administration, the area may be designated as restricted security access for the following reasons: due to a hazardous condition, special event or a general warning for entire FAA airspace.
Though FAA has not come out to explain the reason behind the decision, the move can nonetheless be interpreted as a precautionaty measure against the country's future President.
As vote counting continues in key battle ground states, Biden is widely expected to win Nevada's 6 College votes to hit the 270 threshold and be declared the winner of the November 3 election.
