Senator Murkomen has now reacted about allegations which had already started spreading like a scourge that he was planning to leave the UDA party which he has been supporting in the recent times.
Couple of days ago lawyer Donald Kipkorir and blogger Wahome Thuku left Kenyans with more questions than answers when they alleged that the Elgeyo Marakwet Senator was a disgruntled man and was planning to stop supporting the upcoming party.
Perhaps these kinds of sentiments might have rubbed the good senator the wrong way prompting him to respond and set the records straight.
In his tweet on Thursday 7, 2021 Murkomen who sounded rather angry dismissed such claims as propaganda which is being peddled by bloggers and other deranged people.
In his tweet he tagged the screenshots of tweets of lawyer Kipkorir and blogger Thuku to show that he was actually replying to them.
“Just returned from the US Capitol where we held meetings with Congressmen on matters of mutual interest to our two countries. In my absence propagandists, bloggers, busy bodies and all manner of nose parkers have been peddling rumours in my name,” responded Murkomen.
UDA is a party which is considered as a safe haven for most of the Jubilee leaders who rebelled against President Uhuru Kenyatta and faced the purge. Notably, most of these politicians are allied to the Deputy President William Ruto.
It is also expected that DP Ruto may heavily invest in strengthening the party in preparation for the 2022 general election. Senator Murkomen being one of the think tanks around DP Ruto cannot fail to respond to any wild allegation against the party.
