According to reports by Citizen Tv, honourable Oparanya stated,"you let luhyas down, stop blaming Raila."Whereby he told Musalia Mudavadi to stop blaming honourable Raila Odinga yet he is the one who has failed the Luhya community.
Oparanya asked Mudavadi to own up that he failed while in power rather than tainting a bad image to the Azimio presidential candidate. He alleged that Musalia Mudavadi has been in leadership for many years but he has never helped the Luhya community as a Luhya leader.
The Kakamega governor stated that Mudavadi's political elevation was influenced by Raila Odinga as a result,he should respect the former prime minister. He added that Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula will not get the 70 percent because he will ensure Azimio gets majority of the votes in the region.
