Speaking today in Matungu constituency, the Kapseret lawmaker Oscar Sudi pointed out that there was no need for some leaders to celebrate the passing of BBI bill by MCAs after they were promised car grants. He added that efforts to make their camp oppose it were not successful because the motive was to make them look bad.
Sudi said that the real test was in the referendum where the citizens were going to have a final say in it. Chances were that they were likely to shoot it down. Sudi insisted that his camp has not been opposing the document as some leaders have been saying.
The outspoken leader proceeded to note that his allies in Tangatanga all that they were saying was that the document was good but the time was wrong. He said that the country was facing a number of challenges that needed to be sorted out without BBI.
He however cautioned Kenyans that in the event the document passed, things in this country were going to take a different direction as the financial burden was going to be heavy on many hustlers.
